The software application allows health care providers to take the guess work out of calculating the patient portion of a bill. Utilizing the hospital’s claim history and current reimbursement terms, PMMC ESTIMATOR PRO generates accurate estimates, increases upfront collections, and acts as a catalyst for the billing process.
With a high commitment to quality and service, Conway Regional Medical Center is developing and swiftly refining its services to meet the ever-changing needs of their community. Roy Nichols, Director of the Business Office and Admissions , found that the hospital, in order to better serve their patients and admissions staff, needed to implement a support tool that could accurately estimate the patient portion of a bill prior to service and take the guess work out of the equation. “During the search for a provider, we found PMMC to be a good fit financially and logistically. Nichols explained that, “Conway Regional launched Estimator PRO June 1st and month after month has seen collections increase. The hospital set a goal of reaching $100,000 in collections every month.
