By determining the patients anticipated payment prior to service, the ESTIMATOR PRO tool amplifies cash collections and diminishes patient bad debt. The software application allows health care providers to take the guess work out of calculating the patient portion of a bill. Utilizing the hospital’s claim history and current reimbursement terms, PMMC ESTIMATOR PRO generates accurate estimates, increases upfront collections, and acts as a catalyst for the billing process.
With a high commitment to quality and service, Conway Regional Medical Center is developing and swiftly refining its services to meet the ever-changing needs of their community. Roy Nichols, Director of the Business Office and Admissions , found that the hospital, in order to better serve their patients and admissions staff, needed to implement a support tool that could accurately estimate the patient portion of a bill prior to service and take the guess work out of the equation. “During the search for a provider, we found PMMC to be a good fit financially and logistically. Nichols explained that, “Conway Regional launched Estimator PRO June 1st and month after month has seen collections increase. The hospital set a goal of reaching $100,000 in collections every month.
