PMMC Client Account Managers Earn Professional Certification in Revenue Cycle from the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA)

PMMC, a leading revenue cycle management company, has announced that five members of its account management department recently earned the Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) from the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).  

By achieving certification in HFMA’s CRCR program, Stephen Summers, Kristen Wood, Joseph Cherian, Cindy Washam and Kathleen Watts have demonstrated a high level of revenue cycle knowledge and expertise.

Available to individual HFMA members and non-members as well as organizations, the CRCR certification program helps set performance standards for revenue cycle staff. A variety of hospital revenue cycle professionals and associated departments enroll in the program, including patient access, patient accounts, health information management, billing, case management, compliance decision support, finance, patient financial representatives, and managed care operations, among others.
