Roger L. Shaul, Jr. President
Mr. Shaul is a former vice president of SunHealth (now Premier, Inc.), director of Sun Alliance, and has been responsible for the operation of two hospitals. Highlights of his career include overseeing the development and evolution of PMMC from a consulting firm specializing in payer/provider negotiations using actuarial techniques and performing hospital rate setting into a leading software firm specializing in the full spectrum of provider revenue cycle operations.
Mr. Shaul also oversaw the development of Sun Alliance into a nationally recognized network of leading hospitals in the Southeast, creating the nation's most recognized capital equipment purchasing program for hospitals, establishing captive like malpractice insurance relationships for a group of hospitals, and developing strategies for alternative delivery systems. Mr. Shaul is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and holds an MBA from the University of Florida program in Health and Hospital Administration. Mr. Shaul has also served as adjunct faculty at UNC Chapel Hill Health Administration Program, and currently serves on the Dean’s Advisory Board at the College of Computing and Informatics at the University of North Carolina- Charlotte. As the founder of PMMC, Mr. Shaul's experience in developing innovative programs and services for hospitals brings new perspectives to providers and insurers that can translate into successful competitive strategies for both.
Kelly Coleman Senior Vice President - Operations
Ms. Coleman has worked in healthcare consulting for nearly twenty years, conducting market research, competitive pricing analyses, financial impact assessments, and rate setting projects for hospital clients.
At PMMC, Ms. Coleman is responsible for coordinating PMMC's consulting services and development efforts, which have included the successful launch of products such as PMMC FLEXCOST PRO and PMMC ESTIMATOR PRO. In 2011, she was the recipient of the Business Leader’s Women Extraordinaire award. Ms. Coleman is a graduate of the University of North Carolina where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Policy & Administration, and is a credentialed Project Management Professional through the Project Management Institute.
Gregory B. Kay Senior Vice President - Sales & Marketing
Mr. Kay has managed and consulted in healthcare for 26 years. He was previously the Vice President of Sales for Pharmacy Corporation of America (Beverly Enterprises’ pharmacy division).
Mr. Kay has experience in multi-site operations management, managed care negotiation experience from a healthcare provider’s vantage point, product development / implementation, as well as a solid marketing and managerial background. Mr. Kay is a finance and marketing graduate of the University of South Carolina. Mr. Kay was recently recognized a Business Leader Top 50 Entrepreneurs in 2012.
Justin Wood Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Wood has over 12 years of technology industry experience and nearly $1 Billion in capital raising and M&A activities, with the most recent at a technology startup that sold to Google for $125 Million.
Prior to joining PMMC Mr. Wood was the CFO for Speed Digital, a cloud based technology company. He was formerly the Sr. Director of Finance for Channel Intelligence by Google and held corporate finance roles at NuVox Communications and Siemens.
Mr. Wood's educational background is in Finance and Computer Science and he holds a BSBA from the University of Central Florida. He is involved in the community and an active member of HFMA Charlotte and The First Tee Greater Charlotte.
Fred Sheffield Chief Sales Officer
Mr. Sheffield is a top-producing senior sales leader with over 20 years of challenger sales development, talent management and verifiable results in surpassing sales targets and client expectations in the information systems and healthcare technology industries.
Mr. Sheffield is accustomed to developing teams to craft business-building visions with senior level executive management and steering negotiations with c-level executives and key decision makers within top healthcare organizations and Fortune 500 B2B companies.
He is a motivational consensus builder, skillful at calling teams to action and solving sales challenges through training and mentorship to elevate performance, customer satisfaction, profitability and shareholder value.
Mr. Sheffield previously led successful sales teams at SAVO Group and CareFusion.
Stephen Summers Vice President - Contract Management Operations
Mr. Summers has over 17 years of experience in the Healthcare industry with experience working for Managed Care Companies, Hospitals and Group Purchasing Organizations. As Vice President of Contract Management Operations, Mr. Summers oversees the daily operations for all areas of Contract Management for both Hospital and Physician Services. Mr. Summers is a graduate of Winthrop University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Health Administration.
Steve Williamson Vice President - Project Management
Mr. Williamson has worked in healthcare for over 28 years and for the following organizations: McKesson Corporation, Cerner Corporation, MModal Corporation , First Data Corporation, Xerox Corporation, and American Express. He has held various positions which include: Vice President of Sales, Vice President of Implementation Services, Director of Quality Control and Software Audit, Director of Account Management and Senior Sales Executive. At PMMC, Mr. Williamson is responsible for the Project Management Office which includes all implementation services for PMMC Client solutions. (Contract PRO, Physician PRO, Estimator PRO, and Revenue Master) Mr. Williamson received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Central Missouri State University.
Ryan Maloney Vice President of Software Engineering
Mr. Maloney leads the development and software engineering teams in the process of evolving PMMC’s software solutions to continually meet and exceed the needs of their clients. He received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and has had a career in healthcare software solutions since 1998.
David Whitlow MCSA, MCSE, CSSA, Director – Network Operations
Mr. Whitlow is responsible for the technology facets of the corporation. He brings 15 years of experience in IT systems, engineering and compliance. He has previously worked in the financial, retail, and healthcare fields, bringing a wide range of talents and skills to PMMC. He holds an Electronics Degree from the United States Air Force and holds advanced certificates in network engineering.
